Sugar and Spice 464m

the book by Jean Ure is about a girl called Ruth Spicer. She lives in a small house, with her dad who is sick and can’t work, her mum that have to do all the work on her own, and a lots of younger iretating brothers and sisters.

Ruth hate scool because she doesn’t have any frieds and people bullying her. On her scool they have gangs, everyone belonges to one gang, the gangs stick together and don’t talk to someone that don’t belong to the gang in scool. She doesn’t belong to a gang and besides she’s like the only one that do her homework. So people also call her nerd. She have one friend, but she’s not a real friend, it’s just that she does’n belong to a gang neither.

One day in the mittle of the term, a new girl called shayenne sugar, or Shay. She looks like a modell and, ruth really looks up for her. One day Shay take the seet beside Ruth and they talk a little. They almost become friends and they call ech other Sugar and Spice. Shay helps Ruth with a lots of things, for example she tells her about the library and that it’s possible to studdy ther if you want, ‘cause she can’t get any peace and quiet at home. She also helps her to stop the bullyers. They becomes really good friends. But Ruth meet a girl from an other scool, where Shay also whent on before. She tells her things about Shay, that she did bad things, and that you shouldn’t trust her...

I think that the book was ok, very cute, but it was a bit borring and easy for me I think, and you could guess the hole story eaven if you just had red one chapter. But I still think that it’s a very good book for someone who hasn’t red any english book before. It was easy to understand everything, and even if you didn’t know one word you understod it when you red.

  1. Good work.
The content is good, but you should check your spelling and don´t fprget the +s when you write about he/she/ in the present tense.
