Estrella lives in spain at the 16th century. She got a best friend, Catalina, and they both think that nothing can come between them. Catalina has a cousin, Andres, and he and Catalina are to get married. But suddenly Estrella falls in love with Andres, and after a while she understands that it is mutual.
At the same time there is a conflict in the city and al the jews shall be burnt. The christians take Estrellas neighboures. And suddenly she founds out a terrible secret.
I think this book is good, not very good, but good. It tells you a lot about jews and christians, so it is good to read if you do a project about the 16th century. I think you should read it!
